Ceramic Fruit

Penkridge Ceramics’ fruit are all handmade and take between two and three weeks to complete, allowing for the various stages of production. The pieces are hand painted using a range of techniques. Nicky Smart and Lorraine Taylor, the creators of Penkridge Ceramics, have devised their own earthenware glazes, and add their own special touches to their pieces. Fruit currently available includes Cox Green apples, Granny Smith

apples, Conference Yellow pears, William Green pears, with and without a metal twig and metal leaf, single and double bananas, and black plums, with and without a metal twig and metal leaf.
